Who can participate?
Indigenous seniors registered as part of a team with a valid 715 Health Check completed within the last 12 months.
Do I have to provide a 715 Health Check or have a Proof of Booking confirmation?
All Deadly Choices events require participants to have an up to date 715 Health Check. You can upload your completed 715 Health Check form here.
Please note: ‘Proof of Booking’ will no longer be accepted by the Deadly Choices team in lieu of a 715 Health Check confirmation form. So, all players must have completed a 715 Health Check within the 12 months prior to event day to compete.
No 715 Health Check = No Play
What are the key dates?
Team registration deadline: Friday, 24 April
Shirt size submission deadline: Friday, 24 April
Team list deadline: Monday, 25 May
715 Health Check confirmation deadline: Monday, 1 June
When do registrations close?
Registrations will close Friday, 24 April or when the event reaches capacity.
Is a 715 Health Check required?
All players must have a valid 715 Health Check completed within 12 months of the event and uploaded via this link: Deadly Choices 715 Health Check Confirmation Form
How many players are allowed per team?
Minimum: 10 players
Maximum: 15 players
Teams with fewer than 10 players can compete for individual awards only.
Who is responsible for registration?
Team Managers are responsible for registering the team and submitting:
- Team lists
- 715 Health Check confirmations
- Uniform orders (if required)
- Dietary requirements
Who is responsible for uniform order?
Team Managers are responsible for submitting team shirt sizes in the team lists and emailing completed list to [email protected] by Friday, 24 April.
Is food available?
Breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and tea/coffee are provided at no cost.
Dietary requirements must be submitted by Monday, 25 May.
How does the competition work?
Teams compete across multiple games. Points are awarded per game, with individual and team awards available.

Can non-Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons participate?
All players must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander and provide a 715 Health Check form.
Is photography and filming?
Yes. Please notify staff on the day if a participant does not wish to be photographed.

How do I get to the Indigenous Senior Games – Gold Cup? (transport/parking)
Parking is available but limited. For this reason, please allow enough time to park and walk to the courts. To reduce congestion, we encourage carpooling or using public transport where possible.
If you’re travelling by bus, Logan Metro Sports & Events Centre sits just a 5-minute walk from several Browns Plains station bus stops. To plan your trip, check TransLink for the latest bus and train services in the area or yarn with your Team Manager about transport.
Where can I get a 715 Health Check?
You can get your 715 Health Check at your local Aboriginal Medical Service or GP. Please ensure they fill out our health check completion form with a stamp to submit as a part of your registration.
