Do I have to provide a 715 Health Check or have a Booking Confirmation?

All Deadly Choices events require participants to have an up to date 715 Health Check.

No 715 Health Check = No Play

If you have had your 715 Health Check between Friday, 20 June 2025 and today, you are good to go.
Health check not up to date? Find your nearest clinic here and complete your 715 Health Check by Monday, 1 June 2026 to be eligible.

Please note: ‘Proof of booking’ will no longer be accepted by the Deadly Choices team in lieu of a 715 Health Check. All players must have completed a 715 Health Check within the 12 months prior to event day to compete.

Will food be provided?

Yes, all participants will be provided with breakfast and lunch.

Water stations and fruit will be available throughout the day.

Do I need to pay to play?

No, this is a FREE event.

Please note that clubs are not included. You’re welcome to bring your own equipment or hire it from the Cairns Golf Club for an additional cost.

Can I register as an individual?

No individual registrations will be accepted, only team registrations.

When do registrations close?

Registrations will close Friday, 29 May 2026 or when the event reaches capacity.

Will there be prizes?

Yes! Deadly prizes up for grabs for 1st and 2nd place, as well as hole-specific awards for longest drive, nearest to the pin, and straightest drive.

Uniforms

Each participant will receive a Deadly Choices FNQ Mixed Golf Day polo to wear on the day.

Cairns Golf Club has a dress code in place: collared shirts for men, no denim, and closed-in shoes for all players.

Make sure to bring your own shoes, hat, a water bottle and a spare polo in case your Deadly Choices polo doesn’t fit.

How do I get to the Cairns Golf Course? (transport/parking)

There is plenty of off-street parking available on the Cairns Golf Club premises.

For public transport, take the bus to the “Skull Rd at Kowinka St” stop, which is a 6-minute walk away.

We suggest planning ahead and checking TransLink for bus services in the area.

Where can I get a 715 Health Check?

You can get your 715 Health Check at your local Community Controlled Health Service or GP. Please ensure they fill out our health check completion form with a stamp to submit as a part of your registration.

This is a smoke, vape, alcohol, drug and sugar free event.
