Our Ambassadors

Deadly Choices Ambassadors live healthy lifestyles and encourage Mob to do the same by raising awareness and inspiring Community.

Research suggests that general populations are greatly influenced by advice provided by people of high standing and respect in Community, resulting in changes of behaviours, beliefs, and values.

Deadly Choices engages a range of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Ambassadors to be community role models and promote health messaging through their personal story.

Maintaining the consistent formula of sport as a vehicle, Deadly Choices Ambassadors are experienced professional athletes from rugby league legends to Olympians.

Sporting heroes are great role models for our Mob and encourage Community to make their health a priority.

acknowledgement

Deadly Choices acknowledges the Gubbi Gubbi, Turrbal, and Jinibara people as the Traditional Custodians of the lands, seas, and waterways where we work.  We pay respect to Elders past and present.

This website contains images, names, and voices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who have passed away. With permission from their families, we have continued to use their images to acknowledge and honour their contributions in making our communities healthy and strong.
