Preston’s Deadly Choice: To be a positive role model for my family and my community

Preston is a former professional rugby league footballer who finished his career at the Gold Coast Titans. A NSW Country and Indigenous Dreamtime team representative, he previously played for the Cronulla Sharks before moving to the Penrith Panthers with whom he won the 2003 NRL Premiership.

Since retiring, Preston has become one of Australia’s most influential sporting ambassadors, working tirelessly in the community as an Ambassador, with a huge focus on supporting individuals, families and communities across a wide range of fields.

In particular, he established The Preston Campbell Foundation to develop programs and opportunities to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander participants in achieving their goals. The Foundation builds partnerships that present commercial opportunities for work experience towards gaining employment for all participants.
