Brandon’s Deadly Choice: Getting at least eight hours of sleep a night
Pacific Games Weightlifting Champion Brandon Wakeling enjoyed a meteoric rise in the sport, representing his country at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games, before elevating himself to Olympian status at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
A fierce competitor, Brandon etched his name within the World top 30 rankings despite only 3 years of global competition.
Growing up, rugby league and track and field were his major sporting pursuits, playing for both Tweed Heads and Gold Coast Indigenous representative teams. A true all-rounder, Brandon showed similar commitment to his studies, securing a Bachelor of Business from Grifftith University.
