The Deadly Choices Indigenous Senior Games are a sporting competition for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander seniors who are 50 years and older.
The games are run four days a week for ten weeks – one day each in Morayfield, Gladstone, Ipswich, and Goodna. The games give elders the opportunity to socialise, exercise outdoors, meet new people, and reconnect with people who they have not seen in years.
Games played include darts, quoits, ten pin bowling, hole-in-the-wall, and numbers mat.
Teams who excel at the local games have the opportunity to compete at the Outback Senior Games against teams from different districts.
