Junior Tobacco Education Program

The Junior Tobacco Education Program introduces age-appropriate and culturally-entwined topics which discuss the various consequences of smoking, while highlighting methods on how to encourage those family members and friends already smoking, towards undertaking their quit journey.

Education and entertainment are meshed together to ensure key preventative health messages are delivered through the actions and dialogue of pivotal characters in a short, 16-part animation series.

‘Smokey Joe – The Neighbour’ highlights numerous aspects of smoking, including related social, emotional and physical consequences of such behaviour. The complete series seeks to reinforce the overall goals of Deadly Choices as a preventative health program, while particularly honing in on the dangers of smoking among communities.
