Deadly Kangaroos | Artist: Charlie Chambers
Charlie Chambers was born and raised in Cherbourg, a community located 177km north west of Brisbane, QLD and he has been painting most of his life.
His Aboriginal tribal heritage is Kiullill and Kookimijii. His art is inspired by the country where he grew up and the stories passed on to him by the elders of the Cherbourg community.
The piece designed for the Deadly Kangaroos campaign features representations of the city, moving down to the bush (with leaves of the trees), the footy field, and team around it.
