This artwork shows the turtle’s stages in life. The circles around each of the turtles are the eggs, where they first start off their life, where they go next is where the other turtles are swimming up, towards the Head Dress.
This is where they find their identity and become strong, like a dugong, and survive on their own by taking their first breath.
