Allen Christensen: AFL player

Allen's Deadly Choice: Go to bed early and get enough sleep.

Allen was born and raised in Geelong and is a proud Tiwi Island man who works tirelessly with the local Indigenous community, particularly in local schools across Brisbane.

Allen played for the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup U18 Competition before being drafted by the Geelong Cats with pick 40 in the 2009 AFL National Draft. He is a fleet-footed midfielder with the ability to push forward and hit the scoreboard.

A prolific ball winner as a junior, Allen has applied the same ball winning abilities at AFL level, particularly around stoppages. Allen played in Geelong's 2011 grand final side that defeated Collingwood. He was traded to Brisbane during the 2014 Trade Period for pick 21. After two injury-hit years, Allen is finally back to full fitness and has recently reclaimed his spot in the Senior side.

Favourite healthy meal: Chicken with sweet potato and baked kale.
